Chancel Choir

Dedicated to spreading God's word through the power of music, the EPFM Chancel Choir is the center of our vital music ministry.  The majority of their song selections are derived from the United Methodist Hymnal and the African American Heritage Hymnal.  The Chancel Choir also utilizes sheet music from EPFM’s vast music library.  Their repertoire consists of classical music, anthems, “light” gospel, folk, spirituals, and hymns. 

Under the leadership of EPFM’s Director of Music, Nathaniel Fisher, and Organist, Darryl Brooks, the Chancel Choir sings on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and rehearses at 7:00 pm on Wednesday nights before they sing.  Participation is open who all who have an interest in worshipping God through song! 

Minnie T. Robinson Gospel Choir 

The Minnie T. Robinson Gospel Choir strives to sing the Lord’s praises and inspire the worshipping community through the power of gospel music. Named for the current and founding pastor of EPFM, the MTR Gospel Choir is a community of singers who share the joy, power and message of gospel music in its standard, traditional and contemporary forms. The choir seeks to promote appreciation of gospel music as an inspirational medium and encourages participation of singers regardless of age, singing ability or culture. 

The MTR Gospel Choir is led by EPFM’s Director of Music, Nathaniel Fisher, sings on the 2nd Sunday of the month and rehearses on Wednesday nights before the 2nd Sunday at 7:00 PM.

Men's Chorus

The Men's Chorus is a group of enthusiastic men, who share a common love of singing and praising God.  The chorus sings spirituals, hymns, standard and quartet-style Gospel music. Through their songs and service they are creating a legacy of men praising and glorifying God in song. 

Under the leadership of EPFM's Director of Music, Nathaniel Fisher, the Men's Chorus sings on the 4th Sunday of the month and rehearses on Wednesday nights before the 4th Sunday at 7:00 p.m.  The chorus extends a warm welcome to all men who have a testimony of God’s saving grace join them in serving the Lord through song!  

Youth & Children's Choir 

The EPFM Youth & Children’s Choir is a blessing not only to young people, but the entire church and community. This choir sings basic musical songs that are age-appropriate and easy to comprehend.  Young people up to the age of 18 are invited to participate as we learn about performing melody, harmony, and rhythm, learn vocal technique (including posture, diction, and tone production) and learn how to work together as the body of Christ. 

The Youth & Children's Choir sings on 5th Sundays and rehearses on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 11:00 AM.  Nathaniel Fisher serves as the choir's director with the assistance of Sis. Shirley Harps, Sis. Miltresa McMichael, Sis. Edye Simpson and Sis. Toni Travis-Ojewanda.
